Community Arts Grants

$500 to $1,000

We support community level arts programming that’s designed to inspire and encourage continued development through the arts because we believe in the value the arts possess in building community. In the past we’ve funded everything from a wildly popular chorale experience at Carnegie Hall to new theatrical productions to an award-winning film about 9/11. Varied in concept, everything we’ve funded has aspired to a level of excellence that only earnest dedication to a craft provides. Community Arts Grants range from $500 to $1,000.

2026 Community Grant Awardees

• $1,000

  The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra

  The RSO Quartet, comprised of the principal string players of the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, will perform a concert inspired by the visual art of the exhibition The Aldrich Decennial: I am what is around me.

• $500

  The Masterwork Chorus

  Reach Out program bringing live choral music directly to senior citizens and individuals residing at assisted living, rehabilitation, and healthcare facilities throughout Morris County.

  Found Sound Circle

  Sound Bridges — a two-hour, site-responsive community arts event centered on the Bettenbender Plaza bridge at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts.

  FJK Dance

  Fall performance of To Heart, a multimedia production by Fadi Joseph Khoury, inspired by the poetry of Rumi.
